to the sanctuary

dear diary,

Have you heard? It's magical and almost too funny. I couldn't believe it when Kazuma-dono told me that he has a dojo near the Sohma Hotsprings. It's supposed to be a secret.
"Oh, now I get it."
Since it's supposed to be a secret, then I could look at it as a secret hideout, right? That's the place where I'll be staying, he said. He told me not to quit my job at the Hotsprings. That's good.
"Wait... then what's the point of having me moved out of Kagura's house?"
I guess Kazuma-dono's still trying to conform to Akito-sama's orders. After all, Kazuma-dono owns that dojo and it is still a dojo. I see no problem.

Or is there another reason why?

Anyway, I'm so relieved to hear that, I don't care. But it's going to be really lonely having to leave Kagura's house.

I could still visit. Well, yeah. Since the secret dojo's not that far compared to Kazuma-dono's mountain dojo.

Why is it a secret dojo anyway? I forgot to ask. I'll probably ask Kazuma-dono the next time he calls here -- that is if he calls. I'm sure Kazuma-dono will. Kazuma-dono should.

I hope I won't cause anymore trouble.

I'm still A- Okay. 8:58 PM

Isuzu Sohma, 17-18 who is also called Rin, is the Horse of the Chinese Zodiac. She is often called Rin by a few members of the family because 'suzu' translates to 'small bell' in Japanese, and 'Rin' is the sound a small bell makes.

Apparently, she and Hatsuharu used to have a close sexual relationship together, until Akito found out about it and hurt Rin severely, causing her to be admitted to the hospital for some time. When Hatsuharu visited her while she was in the hospital, Rin broke up with him, without giving any reason why. It is later known that she didn't want him to be hurt by Akito if they continued the relationship.

Rin's character is somewhat cold and angst-ridden. She thinks of Tohru Honda as an annoyance to the Sohmas, but eventually warms up to her little by little because of the kindness Tohru gives in return. She only appears in the manga, not in the anime.

She is famous for her tough and independent nature and her darkly exquisite sexiness within the Sohma family. Also, she is known for a trait of her zodiac animal: sheer stubbornness and independence. Anyone who usually tries to go against those feelings get a taste of Rin's high-heel boots.
